These terms govern use of the Melton International website. Orders and sourcing engagements are governed by a separate written agreement.

Information, not a binding offer

Website content describes sourcing categories and our approach. It is not an offer to supply a particular product at a fixed price or by a particular date. Sending an inquiry does not create a purchase order, supply agreement or obligation to proceed for either party.

Quotes and project agreements

Availability, specifications, quantities, prices, currency, freight, import duties, taxes, lead times and delivery scope must be confirmed in writing. Payment terms, inspections, warranties, returns, cancellations, responsibility for import compliance and risk of loss are set out in the relevant quote or signed agreement. If these website terms conflict with a signed project agreement, that agreement governs the project.

Materials and imagery

Images illustrate material categories and finishes; they are not a record of completed Melton projects or a guarantee of the product supplied. Colours, grain, veining, dimensions and finishes may differ. Approve the actual specification and any agreed sample before ordering. Website descriptions do not establish certification, code compliance or suitability for a particular installation.

Import information

Tariff treatment and trade measures depend on product classification, origin and the rules in force when the goods are imported. General website information is not a customs ruling. The applicable import costs and responsibilities must be confirmed for each order.

Your submissions

Provide accurate contact and project information and submit only files you are authorized to share. You retain ownership of your drawings and files. You permit Melton and relevant service providers to use them only as needed to review your inquiry and carry out an agreed engagement, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Do not upload malicious files, unlawful content or unrelated sensitive personal information.

Acceptable use and website content

Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the website, abuse the inquiry form or distribute malware. Melton’s branding, text and original website assets may not be republished for commercial use without permission. You may view the site and keep copies reasonably needed to assess our services. Third-party rights remain with their owners.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but errors and interruptions can occur. Confirm information material to your purchasing decision directly with us. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from website interruptions or reliance on general website information instead of confirmed project terms. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or overrides mandatory rights.

Applicable law and changes

These website terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory laws that apply to you. Updates take effect when posted and do not change a signed project agreement. Contact info@meltoninternational.ca with questions.
